Customs, duties, and any other expenses associated with delivery outside of Ireland that can occur are the responsibility of the customer to pay.
 

All orders from The Kilkennys are dispatched from Ireland via An Post. We aim to process and ship your order as quickly as possible.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email. The Kilkennys is not responsible for any lost, delayed, or missing parcels once they have been handed over to An Post or any third-party courier. We will always provide tracking details where available so that you can follow your delivery.

Please note that tracking updates vary depending on the destination country.
For example:

• Canada and Australia — tracking for registered items is not available once the parcel leaves Ireland.

• Other international destinations — tracking may stop updating after customs clearance or transfer to local postal services.

If you have selected tracked or registered postage at checkout, we will do our best to assist with tracking inquiries. However, The Kilkennys cannot issue refunds or replacements for items lost in transit, unless full tracking or insurance was purchased.

Customs & Duties

When placing an international order with The Kilkennys, please be aware that you are responsible for any import duties, taxes, or customs fees required by your country. These charges are not included at checkout and must be paid upon your package's arrival in the destination country.

Since customs regulations and fees vary globally, we are unable to provide an estimate of these costs. Typically, the courier handling your shipment will cover these charges initially and then contact you for payment before delivery. If you do not pay the required fees and your order is returned to us, we will issue a refund minus all shipping costs (both to and from your location), 20% handling fees and any duties we are charged.

To avoid unexpected charges, we recommend checking your country’s import regulations before ordering. Your local customs office or postal service can provide guidance on potential costs.

It is your responsibility to understand and comply with any import regulations in your country before completing a purchase.
The Kilkennys cannot be held accountable for any customs charges, delays, or restrictions imposed by your local authorities.

If you refuse delivery due to unpaid duties or taxes, you will not be eligible for a full refund. A 20% handling fee will be applied to any order that is refused or returned due to non-payment of customs charges. Additionally, original shipping costs will not be refunded, and return shipping fees will be deducted from your refund.

Returned items must arrive sealed, in their original packaging, and in resalable condition. As we ship fragile items such as CDs and vinyl records, The Kilkennys cannot accept responsibility for damage that occurs during return transit. Refunds will only be processed once the returned goods have been received and inspected.
